It's still rendering at the moment. I don't know why, except that it was because of a couple reasons like wanting to test out my laptop with rendering heavy renders and it was also because I wanted to see how smooth a 60fps video looked coming out of this program.
The MoGraph was fun to build, quite easy really. I just threw a cube in a sphere cloner shape added some collision tags. I just hope it appeals to people with how it looks, and maybe I'll shoot some extra camera angles to put together to make a little more theatrical.
The MoGraph render is finished, as a part of learning more about rendering and physics engine in the program. I got inspired to do something like this from watching people post similar animations online, so naturally I wanted to do one myself.
The first render failed, as a part of a rookie mistake. I tried to render it all in a video format that was interrupted by a computer update. This time I created a JPEG sequence, so I could get it done in parts. The end result looks good, but this is just a vanilla video.
I may do more to this shape and physics at a later time, like more camera angles.
